In 2023, I had the pleasure of accompanying a lovely couple from Paris who dreamed of getting married under the Caribbean sun. After falling in love with Martinique during a previous trip, they chose the beach of Le Diamant to say “I do” surrounded by twenty of their closest family and friends in a tropical chic and relaxed atmosphere.

A Romantic Escape to the Tropics
Their adventure began in Paris, at the town hall of the 13th arrondissement, where they held their civil ceremony.
As soon as it was over, a private bus was waiting to take the guests directly to Orly Airport destination Martinique!
I joined them right from that moment to make sure everything went smoothly. Two days later, everyone was reunited on the “Island of Flowers,” ready to experience a truly unforgettable celebration.
A Tropical Chic Ceremony on the Beach of Le Diamant
The couple dreamed of a daytime wedding, barefoot in the sand simple, elegant, and authentic.
For the ceremony, I designed a tropical chic décor: a square bamboo arch decorated with exotic flowers in coral, orange, and soft green tones, and wooden cross-back chairs to enhance the natural look. The decor reflected their dream of a tropical chic and white wedding in Martinique.
White was the main color, accented with warm hues inspired by the island’s landscape.
Under the blue Caribbean sky and facing the turquoise sea, the ceremony was filled with laughter, tears, and genuine emotion.
Cocktail and Lunch with Toes in the Sand at Le Chill Restaurant
After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a light cocktail on the beach in a relaxed, joyful atmosphere.
To open the cocktail hour, each guest received a personalized fresh coconut, filled with chilled coconut water — a refreshing and original way to toast the newlyweds and fully embrace the tropical spirit.
Local appetizers, fresh drinks, and music set the tone for an afternoon full of conviviality.
The lunch then took place at Le Chill, a beachfront restaurant at Le Diamant, offering both a chic and laid-back ambiance.
The couple wanted something authentic, so we created a refined Creole-style meal served right by the sea. Decor table was dressed with woven placemats, a tropical flower runner, and natural details inspired by the island’s lush beauty. This day unfolded in a joyful, sun-drenched atmosphere, ending with a breathtaking sunset over the ocean.
A Tropical Wedding Cake – Elegant and Delicious
To conclude this beautiful day, the couple chose a tropical wedding cake that perfectly reflected the theme.
Decorated with fresh exotic flowers orchids, birds of paradise, and lush greenery the cake combined simplicity and refinement.
Served right on the beach, it created a sweet, memorable moment that closed the celebration beautifully.
