The meeting with the bride and groom
Yannis and Frank asked me in August 2017 to organize their wedding at My Father’s Manor on August 31, 2018. Both living in Paris and coming from Africa, they wanted a romantic marriage in small committee, “eh yes, you read: small marriage” :)).
All this with some African touches for a nice reminder of their origins. Yannis, a Franco-African Métis woman, works in human resources as a manager. Frank himself Ivorian, is a liberal sports coach. They met a few years ago in a gym.
When I first met them at home, the meeting was very pleasant, they felt reassured with me. To tell you the truth, I was the only wedding planner they had contacted. Actually, Frank made the first contact, then his wife took over.
They told me of their wish to organize a small wedding, of the style of marriage they imagined. They both wanted a place with a certain modernity, and elegant at the same time in light, pastel tones. I thought of this beautiful reception place called my father’s mansion. According to us, it was ideal.
The D-Day
Yannis and Frank are both believers, but decided that August 31, 2018 would be the day of their civil ceremony. For her preparation, Yannis was in the little hands of Katia professional makeup artist and hairdresser. Once ready and dressed, the bride-to-be heads towards the sumptuous city hall of the 5th arrondissement of Paris. The religious marriage will be done in Central African Republic with all their relatives.

My father’s manor was selected for its charm, authenticity and modernity. The bride and groom decided to organize their reception dinner under the tent, to keep the spirit of marriage outside. We make you discover through these few images their wedding at my father’s manor.
Once arrived a refined cocktail with western and African flavours is orchestrated by Village traiteur.
